- I need two Internet e-mail utilities that it seems someone would have thought
- of already. I need to access internet e-mail, but do not have TCP/IP and/or
- Winsock programing abilities. A couple of simple utility programs as described
- here, it seems, would be an 'ultimate' tool...
-
- POP Tool
- - work completely from the windows command line (can be executed by other
- applications)
- - no visual display in Windows
- - performs its task and exits
- - accept parameters (server, userid, password, file1, file2)
- - Query the POP mailbox of 'userid' on server 'server' and write any mail to
- 'file1' and completion/error codes/messages to file2.
-
- SMTP Tool
- - work completely from the windows command line (can be executed by other
- applications).
- - no visual display in Windows
- - performs its task and exits
- - accept parameters (server,file1,file2)
- - upload outgoing mail file 'file1' to SMTP server 'server' and write
- completion/error codes/message to 'file2'

- If shareware, I'll be your first customer. If I pay for development -- I own!
-
- In any case I need these solutions. If you are capably of providing a solution
- like this, please contact me by e-mail so we may discuss.
-
- Thanks!
